How to Count Business Days in 3 Steps
Step 1 — Enter Start & End Dates
Select the start date and end date using the date pickers. Both dates are included in the count.
Step 2 — Choose Working Week
Select Mon–Fri (5-day week) for a standard working week, or Mon–Sat (6-day week) if your business operates on Saturdays too.
Step 3 — Optionally Exclude Public Holidays
Enable the Indian Public Holidays option to exclude national holidays like Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, and Christmas. Uncheck any holiday that your business observes as a working day.

What counts as a business day?
A business day is any weekday that is not a weekend and not a public holiday. For a Mon–Fri week, Saturdays and Sundays are excluded. For a Mon–Sat week, only Sundays are excluded.
Are both start and end dates included in the count?
Yes, both the start date and the end date are included in the business day count.
Which Indian public holidays are included?
The calculator includes four major Indian national holidays: Republic Day (Jan 26), Independence Day (Aug 15), Gandhi Jayanti (Oct 2), and Christmas (Dec 25). You can uncheck any that your business treats as working days.
Can I use this for a Mon–Sat working week?
